Clinical Training Program

Biscayne Institutes is committed to providing clinical training to students interested in learning philosophy and concepts of a HealthCare Community delivery system as well as developing the clinical skills to function in an interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary team. 

 

Students from the fields of

· Art therapy

· Biofeedback

· Chinese Medicine

· Occupational therapy

· Physical therapy

· Psychology and Neuropsychology

· Speech language pathology

· Social work

are invited to apply for acceptance into the BIHL clinical training program.  (In the near future, training will also include students in the fields of Allopathic Medicine, Massage Therapy, Vocational Rehabilitation, etc.)

          

Requirements:  Students must be graduate level students; commit to a minimum of 15-20 hours weekly; for a minimum placement of four to six months.  Only physical therapy and occupational therapy students are an exception to these requirements relative to their programs’ 40 hours per week, six weeks placements.
